Job Details:
- Local Delivery Driver Needed (Bilingual) MUST SPEAK ENGLISH & SPANISH.
- Compensation: $165 a day to start within a month (30 day) period you could start earning up to $825-$1000 a week.
- Employment type: F/T 40+ hrs., 5 to 6 days a week.
- Must be over 26 years to qualify including 1+ year of box truck driving experience
- Clean Driving Record for over 3 yrs, Clean Background
- Wholesale warehouse delivering dry grocery/drink products to retail stores, gas stations, wholesale customers, convenience stores
- Load inventory onto the truck and unload at the customer site
- Inventory of drop off between you and the customer acknowledgement
- Helper would be given for the day if the pallets need to be broken apart in several stops of your daily route.
- This position is Monday thru Friday sometimes (Saturdays).
- Promptness, Cleanliness of Truck, maintaining and checking oil levels/DEF/tire pressure. There might be some kind of troubleshooting expected.
- Outstanding Time & Attendance a must.
- Customer Satisfaction at each stop.
- Communication (a must) with dispatcher.
Responsibilities:
- Performs routine inspections of vehicles on a daily basis and supplies to ensure road safety.
- Plans route to and from customers' businesses and avoid traffic, accident, and/or construction sites.
- Expect to do pick-ups at certain times of the week.
- Communication; Returns from clients to be on record of the invoice and reported on the group chat for Drivers.
- Assure merchandise has been received & approved by the client by checking with the client on drop off.
- Reporting damages, returns/credits given or requested by customer.
- Bonus eligibility for no accident & traffic tickets within 1 year.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be over 26 yrs.
- Custom to heavy lifting and organization of independence with routes.
- Bilingual preferred. (English & Spanish)
- Must pass the Drug Screening & periodically drug tests could be asked.
- Must pass the Background Check Screening.
- Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable.
- Valid & Clean Florida DL.
- Experienced manual/electric pallet jack operator.
- Must have 1+ years of boxed truck (26 footer+) driving experience.
Continuous physical labor is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering pallets, boxes, carts, or equipment, some of which may be heavy (30+ pounds) or awkward.
